DIRECTIONS TO HUMMINGBIRD HILL
Cabins 1-4and Cabin 6 FROM LANCASTER
Travel southeast on Route 33 until you get to the Route 33
Lancaster Bypass (not the US 33 Lancaster Business Route). Take
the bypass around Lancaster and back on to US 33.
Turn into the town of Sugar Grove from Route 33 at the traffic
light. As you enter the town, the road will curve to the left and
then right and then left again. At the point where the road curves
left the second time, you will turn right on Maple Street (County
Road 65); immediately after you turn, you will cross the bridge over
the river. Follow this road 1.8 miles to Fire Tower Road, which
bears right (the road sign is sometimes hard to see, but there will
be a large log house on the left, and the turn-off to Fire Tower is
to the right). Follow this road to the top of the steep hill, then
turn right. This is Sullivan Road – follow it for ¾ mile to our
cabins.
Hummingbird Hill #4 is the first cabin on the left – the driveway
cuts down the hill to the left from the same entrance as #1. The
address is 4455 Sullivan Road.
Hummingbird Hill #1 is the next cabin on the left – it is log with a
blue metal roof. The address is 4433 Sullivan Road.
Hummingbird Hill #6 is accessible via the driveway between cabins #1
and # 4, straight back and downhill from the road. The address is
4435 Sullivan Road. Cabin #6 is not visible from the road.
Hummingbird Hill #2 is the next cabin you will come to on the left –
it has log siding and a green roof. The address is 4395 Sullivan
Road.
Hummingbird Hill #3 is the last cabin you will come to on the left –
it is log with a front porch and a green roof. The address is 4385
